A Lasting Tribute To Celebrate Life: Living Reef Memorials

Our Missions Statement:
We care for the health of our planet, its oceans and all its citizens. Our goal is to give dignity and recognition to everyone who wishes for a Salt Afterlife by helping the ocean’s marine life grow and thrive.

We will use the vast landscape of the sea floor to create cemeteries, termed “Seameteries”.  These Seameteries will provide a living, ever growing reef that will include the memory of you or your loved one.

Our first Seametery, Azure Acres, will be located 1.4 miles off the famous and beautiful shores of Walton County, Florida. Walton County is home to the world famous, white sands of Destin and Fort Walton Beach. The Seametery will provide an oasis on the otherwise large, flat sandbox bottom of the Gulf of Mexico seafloor.

At Seametery Services, our unique method of cremated remains interment allows customers to choose a package that fits within their budget. We offer affordability while also providing the option of a more personalized tribute using one of a variety of headstone designs.

All packages provide a Certificate of Underwater Burial with the individual’s name, dates of life, internment date and GPS coordinates of placement. The individual will also be memorialized in our official Seametery Services Registry. Packages will allow cremated remains to be sent to us for either inclusion in the reef base, or a personalized headstone.  All USPS Priority shipping and handling costs are included in the package price.

Reef Base Inclusion Package
In addition to the information listed above this package includes an engraved bronze name plate. This plate will include name, dates, and requested information of the placed individual.  These engraved brass plates are to be mounted on beautiful river stone and countersunk into the reef surface. Inclusion in the Reef Base is $899 dollars.

Reef Headstone Package
Headstone prices vary based on size and shape. Headstones begin at $2,799. Headstone packages include an 7x5 inch cast bronze plaque with name, information and date. Headstone purchasers will be mailed an elegant wooden box in which to place the cremated remains and other small personal tokens of affection. The boxes will then be sent by USPS Priority mail back to Seametery Services. This box will be cast into the bottom portion of the chosen headstone. Once the headstone is lowered on to the reef base it will be placed into the water.

Optional at no additional charge you can request a video recording of the process be sent along with the certificate of undersea burial.
